Singapore’s election is now officially corrupted, with vote buying now rampant among PAP candidates.
Another PAP candidate is breaching election regulation again, this time at Aljunied GRC. PAP candidate Shamsul Kamar attached his campaign flyer to two bottles of Bird Nest to residents at Aljunied GRC, openly buying votes.
Each bottle of New Moon bird nest cost S$25.
The news came after PAP Minister Edwin Tong dangled a S$500 cash for eligible voters in Joo Chiat.
The Singapore Elections Department did not take any action against the vote buying, a common practice in third world democracies like India.
PAP candidate Shamsul Kamar previously tried to bribe Malay voters with fried chicken, but he quickly called off the “distribution” after media queries.
