Education Minister Ong Ye Kung has confessed that home-based learning is not effective and hence he is making special arrangement for graduating cohorts – Primary 6, Secondary 4 Express and Secondary NA students.
The corrupted PAP millionaire minister wrote on his Facebook page:
“We know that these students have been anxious about the preparation for their national exams, and that home-based learning cannot fully substitute face to face coaching and lessons.”
These students will attend only short lessons of a few hours a day, and two or three times a week from May 19.
The exception was made despite Singapore still seeing record daily infections, among the highest in the world. The small island now have 18,205 confirmed cases, with daily cases nearing a thousand each day.
Education Minister Ong Ye Kung is responsible for numerous infections in schools after he refused to close down the schools. The schools were only closed on April 3rd, but at least 50 students and teachers were already infected.
