For failing to control the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak, Singapore’s ruling party government donated their one month’s pay as apology. The world’s highest paid government is facing intense pressure to exhibit humility is intense as the General Election is expected to come in two months’ time, according to a source within the party.

Including the S$1.54 million-a-year President Halimah Yacob and corrupted dictator Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s S$2.2 million a year, the total amount donated by the 31 ministers is around S$5 million.

The S$5 million will be paid as a bonus to healthcare workers in government hospitals, Ministry of Health and other front-line agencies, with each receiving about S$300.

Ground sentiments against the ruling party PAP is especially bitter at the height of the virus outbreak, as the government failed to close the borders to China or secure enough face masks for Singaporeans. Each residents household was only given 4 pieces of disposable face masks, averaging about 0.7 face mask for each Singaporean.

The virus outbreak also went viral in the local community as the government rejected suspect cases and failed to keep a leash on foreigners who break the mandatory 14 days self-quarantine order, Leave of Absence.
