According to two leaked emails from Lee Kuan Yew’s email archive, the Singapore Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) confirmed that Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong abused his premiership powers to obtained confidential documents from the National Heritage Board (NHB). The leaked email dated 25 June 2015 read:
“Queries relating to the Deed of Gift
2. Your assertion that the Deed of Gift had been improperly given to others is not correct. Any major exhibition concerning Singapore’s founding leaders or found Prime Minister, the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew, is a matter of deliberation by the Government. The Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth has oversight over NHB and in turn is accountable to the Prime Minister’s Office for such matters. Hence it is neither surprising nor improper that the latter would subsequently receive a copy of the signed Deed of Gift.”
Lee Hsien Loong has earlier used the confidential document to aid in his lawsuit against his siblings through his then-personal lawyer, Lucien Wong, the newly-appointed Attorney General in 2017.
On paragraph two of the 12 June 2015’s email, Lucien Wong wrote:
“2. Our client has since received a copy of the Deed of Gift dated 8 June 2015 from NHB.”
The email above was a formal expression of disapproval against the PM’s brother Lee Hsien Yang over his donation of their father’s assets to NHB.
The corrupted Singapore Police and Corrupt Practice Investigation Bureau (CPIB) are however aware of these evidence but choose not to take legal actions against Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. Law Minister K Shanmugam likewise feigned ignorance, choosing not to comment on the corruption case.
In the past two weeks, PM Lee Hsien Loong openly corrupts and abuse his PM powers to create a Ministerial Committee last Saturday, and declaring to make a Parliament enquiry in July. Lee Hsien Loong intends to abuse the government he controls to invalidate his father’s last will.
