PAP candidate Murali is caught snake-talking again claiming that he is his own man in a media interview while having 3 Ministers and the Parliament Speaker to campaign for him. Despite having all the damage and dirty already done for him, PAP candidate Murali insists that he is his own man.

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong today (April 30th) helped Murali to attacked his opponent Dr Chee Soon Juan by openly defaming the Opposition candidate. Earlier this week during a press conference, Deputy Prime Minister Tharman Shamugaratnam helped Murali addressed media enquiries over his S$1.9 million upgrading boo-boo which the latter flipped his statements after critics pointed out that vote-buying is also a form of corruption.

Over at his rally, Murali sought Senior Minister of State Grace Fu’s help to attack Dr Chee Soon Juan’s character. In Grace Fu’s rally speech, she defamed Dr Chee and accused him of being a racist and unemployed:

“Dr Chee has not held a steady job for many years. Let me be clear. I’m not criticising his position to not hold a full-time job for so long. That is his personal choice. But the work experience, or the lack of it, is a relevant fact when we consider the credentials of the candidate.

Beware of anyone who plays the racial card, asking Chinese residents to vote for Chinese only. We know some people have gone around saying this.”

The PAP candidate then had the Parliament Speaker, Halimah Yacob, to speak at the rally, and Halimah Yacob berated Dr Chee over a 15-year-old incident where he openly criticised then-Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong:

“It was one of the most shocking experiences because whatever party we’re from, we must respect our prime minister.”
