In a recent poll conducted by the government’s Land Transport Authority (LTA), the Singapore government found that commuters are now happiest with the state of public transport since 2010.

Published through the state media, the LTA says satisfaction level hit 91.8%, the highest ever since 2010. According to LTA, 90.7% are satisfied with the bus services and bus reliability hit 84.2%. Despite the increasing number of train breakdowns, the MRT trains scored 83.7% in reliability.

With this new government poll, overcrowding suddenly is no longer a grouse for commuters as comfort level hit 78.9% for trains and 87.8% for buses. Complains over waiting time have also become invalidated with satisfaction level hitting 72.4%. In conclusion, the LTA arrived that public transport in Singapore is reliable, comfortable and timely in their own survey.
