The yearly forest fire burning in Indonesia, Sumatra is back and it has brought Singapore’s Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) level to 187 today (Sep 10).

The 24-hour PSI level at 8pm was 119 to 133 but the 3-hour PSI reached 187, the highest in 2 years.


National Environment Agency (NEA) has warned that the thick smog will continue tomorrow (Sep 11) and elderly, pregnant women and children are advised to minimise prolonged or strenuous outdoor activities.
