According to Chinese daily Lian He Zao Bao quoting a property research survey, China citizens are the top foreign buyers of Singapore properties. In the first quarter of 2015, China citizens buying private residential units costing between S$4 million to S$5 million increased by 25% as compared to the previous quarter. The number of those who bought units (12) costing more than S$5 million is also 20% higher than the previous quarter.

The survey also revealed that the China citizens bought the most private residential units (20) are in district 19 (Serangoon Gardens, Houg.ang and Punggol) followed by district 23 (Diary Farm, Bukit Panjang and Choa Chu Kang).
