An international survey done on consumer habits of the rich by Agility Research and Strategy revealed that the upper-middle class in Singapore have an average of 4 luxurious items. The survey was done in March-April this year, with over 1750 upper-middle income earners across 10 cities surveyed.

Singapore is ranked number 2 in the top ten cities for having the most luxurious goods, with an average of 4.07 branded items among the upper-middle class, just behind Tokyo at 4.10. The survey also revealed that 84% of the upper-middle class in Singapore are making plans to go overseas for holidays.
