It is official: Kong Hee is a conman. The S$24 million scam job to fund his wife’s doomed singing career has made international news, sending signals to governments around the world to start looking into the wealth of mega churches.

What little known about Kong Hee is his other brushes with the law before the scam artist got greedy in this case. Here are some facts about Kong Hee:

  1. Kong Hee owns a S$10 million Sentosa Cove penthouse and a 7 series BMW
He also used to own a Horizon Towers unit in River Valley with a private lift, two living rooms, four bedrooms and a compact kitchen before selling it in 2010. He then moved into The Suites at Central on Devonshire for S$2.6 million. His wife, Sun Ho, rented a $28,000/mth Hollywood Hills estate when she was in US for her doomed singing career.
